In my country, there are many
festivals such as Tet holiday, Christmas, Valentine’s day and so on but Tet
holiday is the best important one. It usually lasts for 10 days. Several days before the Lunar New Year, people
have to prepare many things for a new year coming. They decorate houses, go to
the market. They buy many kinds of food, cakes, flowers, and fresh fruits. On
the first day of Tet, the members in family wish their grandparents for the
best wishes. Then they visit relatives, friends and greet each other “Happy new
year”. Children often get lucky-money from adults. In addition, some people also play cards together and
others go spring sightseeing. I enjoy Tet holiday because it is a spring
festival that I have more fun, visiting relatives, meeting friends after a hard
year for jobs.
